After going to a few other stores like RCP and KRC in lakeside. We showed up at Southwest Boulder and stone were immediately met by the forklift driver in the yard. Who was like. What can I do to help you?. We did not receive that type of service at the other two stores. We told him we were just looking and eventually we made our way into the front desk and the Anthony at the front desk went out of his way to answer all the questions that my wife had which were a lot. I just feel like they care more about the customers than the other stores we tried.

Been doing a small garden project with my daughter. We came here to pick out some small stones to use for a border. People here were very friendly and helpful. Sometimes landscape supply stores can be intimidating since they’re usually geared toward commercial landscapers (which is fine), but I found this place to be much more inviting and has a very customer-friendly layout with a range of reasonable prices and quantities for those who are just doing some DIY projects.

Came here to pick up rock but quickly ran off when they claim to charge $30 to load up the material that you purchase ( 1/2 yard only ) . Which was almost half of price of price of what I’m paying for material. No other place does this around here, Xeriscape or Terrabella doesn’t charge this fee so avoid this place unless you want to pay hidden fees and also fully fund their staff on top of your purchase. Also lady at front desks didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, they don’t welcome you when you walk in or care to acknowledge your presence. Went to Terrabella right down the street for same product with amazing staff & they even offer you refreshments.

Staff is good, prices are average. I've used them a few times and will again. But.... Do not buy bagged stone from this place. Basically a bag of powder disguised as stone. Made my project much more difficult than necessary. I was short on product, and instead of going back I scraped from existing landscaping to finish my project. Unfortunately no one has this stone in bulk, so if you must buy, screen and rinse prior to applying or you'll be annoyed like me. 3/4 palm springs .5 cuft bags

Perfect spot for landscaping supplies, lots of options and a very helpful staff. Highly recommend!
